Ivan LaBianca
Ivan LaBianca is the founder and editor of Machine Canon.
As a consultant and a revenue and growth leader, he has worked with dozens of early-stage and scaling companies. His focus now is how AI systems retrieve, rank and describe information — answer-engine optimization for companies, and the systems behind it.
He started his career as a photojournalist, covering the Libyan civil war and the Haiti earthquake. Flying drones as a hobby made him an early practitioner of drone archaeology: a survey he shot at Petra uncovered one of the largest monuments at the site, missed by two centuries of excavation and reported around the world. His work has appeared in the Wall Street Journal, National Geographic, the BBC, NPR, CNN and the Atlantic.
He lives in Brooklyn.
