What they said

in their own words

Gemini 3.1 Pro · picked Hallowed Be Thy Name

“This track shatters the stereotype by showcasing metal's capacity for classical composition, dramatic storytelling, and intricate melody.”

Claude Haiku 4.5 · picked Opeth

“Opeth - "Harvest Moon" (the acoustic version, or the album version with clean vocals). This lets them hear melodic sophistication and emotional depth without the gatekeeping of harsh vocals or wall-of-distortion production.”

Qwen3.8 Max · Alibaba · picked Hallowed Be Thy Name

“It opens with a clean, melancholic guitar line that immediately disproves the "just noise" claim, then builds through layers of dual-guitar harmony, a galloping rhythm, and a narrative vocal performance that's genuinely theatrical.”

Qwen3 32B · Alibaba · picked Opeth

“This track masterfully balances atmospheric tranquility with crushing intensity, showcasing metal’s capacity for dynamic storytelling and emotional depth.”
